Ron Rosano is a commercial astronaut, longtime astronomy educator, and passionate advocate for space exploration. In October 2023, he flew aboard a Virgin Galactic suborbital mission, becoming one of the growing number of private individuals to experience space firsthand.

For more than 25 years, Ron has dedicated himself to inspiring students and the public through astronomy education and outreach. As an informal educator, he has visited over 200 schools across multiple countries, sharing the wonder of space and encouraging the next generation of explorers.

He is the creator and editor of the Suborbital Flight Journal, a comprehensive record of human suborbital spaceflight, and has served as a NASA Solar System Ambassador, delivering presentations on topics ranging from Mars missions to the James Webb Space Telescope.

Through his work, Ron bridges the gap between professional spaceflight and public engagement, using his own journey to space as a platform to educate, inspire, and expand access to the excitement of the cosmos.
